Ibanda to Nyabithaba.Nyabithaba via Guy Yeoman Hut to Bujongolo Rock Shelter. This is the route that the Duke of the Abbruzi took 100 years before us. Nowadays the hikers stay at Guy Yeoman Hut (the panorama photo in the second last row center above). Bujongolo Rock Shelter to Kitandara Lakes. Both Upper and Lower Kitandara are seen on the upper right photo. The hut is between the lakes. Both lakes are also in the lower tight photo, taken on route from Kitandara towards Mount Stanley.From Kitandara lakes via Scott-Elliot pass to Elena Hut. Mount Stanley Glacier, me and my guide descended via the Margeritha glacier (all the others returned to Elena Hut) Irene Lake (and hut) at the end of Margertiha gacier.From Irene hut to Lake Bujuku. The plan was to stay at Bujuku hut, but once we reached Lake Bujuku (at 4 pm) it turned out that all our equipment and food had been taken to John Matte Hut. So we had to jog over Bigo Bogs to make it to John Matte before sunset. Upper and Lower Bigo Bog, on route between Lake Bujuku and John Matte Hut. At John Matte Hut we met the Italians, who had started the descent one day earlier.
